graphikamaal is the virtual identity of freelance graphic, web and signage designer Mustafa Khargonewala alias Qamaal Mustafa Sikander from Bombay (now Mumbai) with experience in print, web and signage.

  Worked with IDC for ADNOC BFC project in prepration of EDMS project of the company. Initially joined as an Indexer, was soon promoted as QC and finally as the Supervisor for Abu Dhabi office of the project. The project was under British management where I got to learn many new skills including Database management.

Worked with ARIHANT XEROX, Irla and later started ARIHANT PLUS as working partner. Along with Ramesh Palan (now with Hindustan Times) and Pravin Gala (of Star Prepress Andheri) was instrumental in starting first Desk Top Publishing (DTP) services in the suburbs of Mumbai. A few other services that we provided included photocopying, spiral & comb binding, book binding, screen printing, lamination etc.

  Worked with Mr. Mohd. Riyaz of M.R.Productions & M.R.Films for his service bureau FRIENDLY XEROX and also for the production during the making of Akayla, starring Amitabh bachchan, Jackie Shroff, Amrita Singh & Meenakshi Sheshadri. Job included doing documentation for the company including agreements with artistes and technicians. This was one of the best period in my career coz. I got best of the three educational streams since I typed hundreds of projects reports / thesis / dissertations for management institute (NMIMS) engineering college (Bhagubhai Polytechnic) and homoeopathic college at Irla, Vile Parle West.

Job included doing documentation for the company including agreements with artistes and technicians. Besides also handled document typing work for clients of Dimppy Business Communication at Khar West, Mumbai.
